« A l’origine, mes créations se sont regroupées sur le thème des Chimères se traduisant au niveau formel par des êtres hybrides, mi humain, mi animal, mi féminin et mi masculin…
Ces dernières étant le plus souvent coiffées d’une tête de licorne, animal récurent dans mes créations et symbolisant un quidam se confrontant aux vicissitudes de l’existence.
Elles sont une sorte de métaphore liée à notre époque fragile, tourmentée et incertaine. »
